Logo Design Code
Introduction

Logo Design Code (LDC) is an independent, ongoing effort by professional logo designers. The goal is to create an open, inclusive code of ethics for online logo design.

Registered members agree to abide by the LDC Code of Ethics as published on this web site and amended from time to time. Registered members may display the LDC membership logo (shown here) on their web sites and marketing materials.

Membership

Membership is open to all who offer logo design services, including those who offer logo design as an add-on service.

There are no membership fees.

More details and membership application form available here.

A list of current members is available here.

Enforcement

Upon application, member web sites are evaluated to determine compliance. Member web sites are systematically re-evaluated on an ongoing basis.

Given our limited resources and the fact that our members are located in various countries around the world, LDC cannot effectively monitor all aspects of member's businesses at all times. We therefore rely to a large extent on our members, their clients and the public at large to report members who they believe are in violation of the principles and guidelines contained in the LDC Code of Ethics.

More details about enforcement here.
